View From The Cliff At Mangawhai, Original Oil Painting

This painting was purchased at The Royal Easter Show, Auckland for the ASB Art Collection by Kim Campbell, Chairman of the board.  It was chosen out of a collection of over 1200 paintings.

There is a wonderful trail at Mangawhai Heads beach, it starts from the beach and goes up to the top of a sea cliff overlooking sea rocks and the beautiful hue of turquoise water that New Zealand is famous for.  In the distance are light, wispy clouds and the Hen and Chicks Islands.
