How I Work With People On Commissions

I love to work with collectors on commissioned paintings!  Most often, these are paintings of their favorite travel destinations, beloved pets in interiors or gardens or a custom sized painting similar to one that I've already sold.

To get started, simply write to me with your ideas, perhaps a photo or two and the size you'd like and whether you think you'd like an oil painting or a watercolor painting.  You can use the contact form on my website or email me at Kristenpaints@gmail.com.

I'll write you back with a quote and let you know approximately how long I think it will take to complete.  Depending on the size, most paintings can be completed within 2-4 weeks including drying time.

I will always send you photos of the artwork in progress and you can comment or ask for changes as I proceed through the painting up until the time that it is complete.  This way, when you receive your finished artwork, it will look exactly as you expected.

OMG...!!! This painting is so. much. fun....!!! Kristen sent me photos while the painting was in progress - so I was able to see the transformation from the beginning to the finished product. This painting worked out even better than I imagined. There is so much to see - this painting is just so marvellous. The colors in the painting in real life are richer and there is more depth to the painting than you can see on the website.
