Trail Blazer

This is a 12" square oil painting on canvas panel of a trail horse waiting for a rider.  It was exhibited in an Oil Painters Of America exhibition.  I enjoyed emphasizing the colors on this painting.  The blue glow on the horses rump and the warm oranges on his stomach tied in nicely with the sadle.
