An original 14" x 10" watercolor and ink painting on 300gsm Arches French made all cotton watercolor paper. This painting is of Balboa Island in Newport Beach, California. It depicts 2 golden retriever dogs seemingly waiting to go for a ride on a Duffy boat. A seagull is perched at the top of the boat, a sailing yacht is passing in the distance in front of The Balboa Pavillion. California fog is drifting in the distance over the iconic Southern California palm trees.
I started this painting on location and finished it in my studio.
