Turn your most cherished travel memories, favorite landscapes, coastal views or golf courses into a spectacular piece of custom fine art. Whether it is a sun-drenched street along the Amalfi Coast, a serene tropical beach from a special vacation, or a scenic view of a landscape close to your heart, an original watercolor painting brings those moments to life in a way a photograph simply cannot.

Each custom commission is a dedicated work of art.  I will work closely with you and send progress photos of the artwork in progress so you will have the opportunity to comment and ask for changes while I work through your painting.

How the Commission Process Works

To get started, simply write to me with your ideas, perhaps a photo or two and the size you'd like to have me paint.  You can use the contact form on my website or email me at Kristenpaints@gmail.com.

I'll write you back with a quote and let you know approximately how long I think it will take to complete.  Depending on the size, most paintings can be completed within 2-4 weeks.

I use only the very best materials including premium, archival professional Rembrandt watercolor pigments on either Fabriano Artistico or Arches watercolor papers, each one of these are museum-grade, 300gsm, 100% cotton and acid-free watercolor papers to ensure lifelong vibrancy.  

Shipping

Once completed, your original painting is sealed in a clear acrylic sleeve and professionally flat-packed or rolled in a protective shipping tube to guarantee it arrives in perfect condition.  Tracking and insurance are included in the price.
