Commission A Landscape Or Still Life Oil Or Acrylic Painting

Working on commissions with collectors is so much fun. I enjoy creating paintings with the collector's suggestions and feedback.

I share each step of the process so that you have the chance to comment as I work on you custom painting.

I paint in an impressionist style with small strokes and layer them slowly to build the colors. 

Do you wish you could have a custom painting of your favorite travel destination or park or even a special painting of your favorite flowers....perhaps with birds included?  

If you are interested in a commission, email me at KristenPaints@gmail.com or message me here on my website with your ideas as well as a photo or photos of the scenery you'd like to paint. If you don't have reference photos, let me know what you'd like me to find as a reference to use for your painting and I will send you what I think would work.  I an also re-paint any of my own paintings!

I paint with only the best available materials including Rembrandt professional oil paints and all cotton canvas.

Commissions take approximately 1 - 4 weeks depending on the size.  The prices shown in the drop down menu include shipping. If you'd like, you can message me for a link to pay half the amount listed to begin the process and then pay the second half when your artwork is completed.  

Here is how it works;
Step 1, choose a size, if you want a size that is different from what is listed, email me with your request at Kristenpaints@gmail.com and I'll write you back with a quote
Step 2, message me here on my website with your photos as well as any special requests about how you'd like the artwork to look.
Step 3, I will message you back with suggestions and possibly a photo collage or a drawing and composition ideas.                                                        

Step 4, You pick the composition you like best.
Step 5, I will send you a photo of the completed pencil drawing for comments and approval.
Step 6, I will send you progress photos of the painting as I work on it so you can comment.
Step 7, I will send you a photo of the finished painting for approval
Step 8, I will mail you your finished painting!  Shipping is included in the price!
