Hanging above the headboard, a small framed painting by Matisse, also of a jaguar, is a "painting within the painting", echoing the scene, while a rustic wooden stool sits on the exposed wood plank floors in the foreground, completing an artistic composition that balances designer aesthetic with a wild jungle sanctuary.  When I saw the reference photo of this room, the pillow designs reminded me of South Pacific and tropical designs.  This is why I chose to put a jaguar in the scene.  I added the painting by Matisse for a bit of whimsy.
